Any time you embark on a new platform or a new strategy, it can be overwhelming. The energy is flowing, and it’s easy to get wrapped up in the excitement of what’s possible. That said, it’s important to also think about how you can optimize your campaign. We’ve asked our client success team to share their top tips for first-year partners.

1. Identify your goals

A strong strategy on Doximity starts with clearly defined goals. Aligning goals early (and sharing them with your Doximity team) will allow you to identify and reach your ideal audience with the most strategic approach. It’s common for partners to work on multiple goals with their Doximity programs. But, remember, one program can’t necessarily cater to every individual goal. For example, your audience, content, and key metrics can differ based on each specific goal. Whether you aim to establish national brand awareness, boost referrals from local primary care providers, or enhance physician engagement with your product, your Doximity team can help you tailor your approach accordingly.

2. Content is king, but you don’t have to reinvent the wheel

It’s easy to sound like a broken record when it comes to content, but strong, consistent messaging truly is the lifeblood of any good marketing program. Quality content engages, educates and resonates with your audience. On Doximity, this means current, clinical, and relevant content. While it’s important to tailor your content to physicians, you will likely already have great content that can be adjusted for a clinical audience. We recommend having an early brainstorming session to review what content already exists, including any consumer marketing or third-party content that can be repurposed, and where and how you’d like to fill in the gaps.

3. Consistency is your friend

Once you identify your content, it’s time to get it in market. The best thing you can do for your programs is to get them running and maintain a steady cadence. As time goes on and results start to roll in, we can always modify or pivot your content strategy. We’ve seen the most success from partners who stay top-of-mind by consistently deploying content throughout the year.

4. Lean on your Doximity team

The number one tip for a new partner is to lean on your Doximity team. With decades of healthcare experience, we’re here to be your strategic partners. Your team can provide recommendations on content, feedback on ideal audiences, best practices, reporting to guide future strategy, and more. We’ve got you covered.

Of course, it’s important to combine these tips to create a cohesive approach where your content itself and your deployment schedule supports your goals.
